Strikið restaurant is located on the top floor of Skipagata 14. We offer a sweeping view of the fjord, and the mountains which overlook the town. There are two dining rooms which can accommodate either 60 or 80 guests. Another part of our facility is located outside with room for up to 100 diners. It is simply a unique experience on a beautiful summer day or a bright northern evening to enjoy our fine cuisine and beverages. A casual spirited atmosphere is part of our main attraction.
Our head chef, Róbert Hasler, is credited with creating our renowned menu with the emphasis on variety. Every day at lunchtime, we offer the day‘s special with soup for only 1,500 ISK. Sesselja Reynisdóttir Barðdal is head waiter, responsible for ensuring that you receive the best possible service. The restaurant is run by the owners, Heba Finnsdóttir and Sigurður Jóhannsson, both of whom are highly qualified restaurateurs. They learned the trade as interns at the very popular restaurant which preceded Strikið at this same location.
